A collaborative PR milestone

In mid 2024, Microids was looking for an easier way to handle their PR process. Journalists typically had to come to their office or deal with Steam® keys that needed to be created and tracked. To our great pleasure, they decided to give us the exclusivity on their upcoming campaign for the game they had finished a few weeks before: Empire of The Ants. With no install or key required, journalists were able to remotely experience the first hour of the game during virtual sessions with the Microids team.

For the official announcement of Empire of the Ants at Gamescom 2024, Microids used Playruo once again, to extend the demo experience beyond the event. While the game was being showcased at the stand, they shared the link to the 15-minute demo on social media, allowing players worldwide to experience the game in parallel. This connection between physical and digital presence amplified the excitement and reach of the campaign.
